Koizar Agrees To Pro Deal In Europe

Former University of Maine standout Sigi Koizar will be heading overseas to continue her basketball career.

ZTE NKK side in Hungary for the 2017-18 season. ZTE NKK finished in seventh place in the Division A Standings in Hungary and had a record of 9-11.

Koizar is a three-time all America East First Team selection and averaged 14.1 points per game last season with the Black Bears. She played high school basketball at Stearns in Maine after studying abroad from Vienna, Austria. Koizar was recently named an NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.
