New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft met with the Boston area media on Thursday at Myra Kraft Community Volunteer awards, but would not talk about the amicus brief filed by the franchise last week.

Kraft told reporters that he did not want to address the issue since the event was for 'celebrating volunteerism' instead of talking about the legal process with concern of Tom Brady.  The Pats' owner did however say that he is excited for the upcoming season which he hopes will feature another appearance in the playoffs by New England.

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation awarded recognition to 26 different volunteers and rewarded one with $25,00 to be donated to the non-profit organization of their choosing.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski also were in attendance and made an appearance for the event.  Brady is currently waiting to see if the US Court of Appeals will grant him a rehearing in his case against the NFLPA.
