The Boston Bruins romped past the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penquins 8-4 last night, scoring the most goals in a game since 2012.

David Krejci had a hat trick while his new linemate, Rick Nash, had a goal and an assist.

Nash, Tommy Wingels, Brian Gionta and Nick Holden, all acquired at the trade deadline, all played for the first time. Gionta had two assists and Holden had one.

Tuukka Rask made 22 saves to get the win in net.

At 39-15-8 the Bruins move back into second place in their Atlantic Division with 86 points.
