Perhaps it was the closest thing to a must win game this season. The Boston Celtics taking on the first place Toronto Raptors at Boston Garden last night.

Well, mission accomplished.

A 117-108 win over the Raptors, stoppping a three game losing skid and staying within striking distance of first place.

Kyrie Irving had a monster night - 27 points and a career high 18 assists.

10 of those points and six of those assists came in the fourth quarter.

The return of Aron Baynes from injury was also a help.

Al Horford had a season high 24 points and Gordon Hayward had 18.

Kawhi Leonard had 33 for the Raptors.
