The Boston Celtics beat the Denver Nuggets 124-118 last night at the Garden and the 124 points is a season high for the C's.

Not only that, the Celts shot 60% from the floor and that's a season high.

And, this all happened with Al Horford sitting out. Coach Brad Stevens decided to give Horford a night off as his team plays five games in seven days.

Kyrie Irving, who sat out Monday's game, returned to score 33 points.

Jaylen Brown scored 26 to pick up some of Horford's points. And, guys like Aaron Baynes (17), Daniel Theiss (8) and Shane Larkin (14) helped the offense.

Gary Harris led the Nuggets with 36.

The Celtics improve to 24-6 and play Utah and Memphis back-to-back on Friday and Saturday nights.
