Kyrie Irving returned to the Boston Celtics lineup wearing a protective facemask and scored 25 points, helping the C's beat Brooklyn 109-102.

Make it 13 straight wins and a league-best 13-2 record.

Irving clearly hated wearing the mask as he protects a minor facial fracture.

Marcus Morris added a double-double, 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Rookie Jayson Tatum scored 19.

The Celtics could never put away the pesky Nets mainly because the Boston bench did not help much. Brooklyn bench outscored Boston 38-13.

But the win streak continues and next on the schedule is defending champ Golden State. The Warriors play at the Garden Thursday night.
