An interesting Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York for Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving. He put on a show as his team won 113-99 win while Knicks fans were shouting 'We want Kyrie, We want Kyrie'.

Irving scored 23 points, 10 rebounds and six assists against a gutted Knicks team after their big trade with the Dallas Mavericks that cleared up salary cap space for next year.

Irving, who can be a free agent at the end of the season, did nothing but keep the soap opera going earlier in the day by somewhat backing down from his stance on staying with the Celtics long term. His quote earlier in the day was 'ask me July 1'.

The Celtics victory puts Kyrie and company at 33-19 while the Knicks are a miserable 10-41.

After the game, Irving met the media and was clearly not happy with all the attention and called it a distraction...
