John Lackey pitched seven strong innngs, Koji pitched a 1-2-3 ninth, the Red Sox jumped out with four runs in the first two innings and it all spells a 5-2 win in Texas. It means the Sox are 19-18 and over .500 for the first time since April 3rd.

The Sox got two hits from Dustin Pedroia, including a home run. A.J. Pierzynski knocked in two runs with a hit.

Lackey scattered seven hits in seven innings. He struck out nine and didn't walk a batter.

Andrew Miller and Koji Uehara finished the job on the hill.
