Hampden's Bryce Lausier scored 15 first quarter points to help the Broncos put away the Skowhegan Indians 51-20 Monday night in Class A North action.

The Broncos improve to 11-3 while Skowhegan drops to 5-8.

It was a bounce back win for Hampden after losing at Lawrence 40-38 Saturday afternoon.

Lausier, Ross Webb and Kory Winch forced a lot of turnovers and most of the time those turnovers turned into break out baskets for the Broncos. Lausier finished with 21. Winch had 15. Both played little in the second half.

Kyle Kruse had seven points for the Indians.

The Broncos host 9-3 Mt. Blue Thursday night at 7pm. The winner could slide into first place in Class A.
