Lawrence Named AE Pitcher Of Week

UMaine's Tommy Lawrence is America East Pitcher of the Week and Husson's J.T. Whitten is North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week.

Lawrence(W.Haven, Conn) pitched the Black Bears to their only win over the weekend at Binghamton, a 3-0 complete game shutout. Lawrence gave up just 6 hits and struck out 7. He is now 4-4 on the season with an ERA of 3.97. The Bears are 5-7 in AE, 14-21 overall.

In the NAC, J.T. Whitten(Waterville HS) led the Eagles to a 4-2 week. He hit .478 with a home run, 5 RBI and 4 runs scored. The Eagles are 11-4 in the NAC, 16-11 overall.
