Legion Baseball Zone 1 Preview
Many regular season games squeezed into five weeks of summer and now it's playoff time for American Legion baseball teams. The post season begins Sunday night with the Zone 1 play-in game.
The five team tourney field is set...
#1 Bangor, #2 Hampden, #3 Brewer, #4 Motor City, #5 Penquis
The zone tournament begins with a one game playoff game between Motor City and Penquis Sunday at 7PM. The winner becomes the #4 seed and will take on top ranked Bangor on Monday.
Hampden and Brewer meet in the other game on Monday.
The tournament is double elimination and all games played at the John Winkin Complex at Husson University in Bangor.
