Lester Falls For First Time

Boston Red Sox v Chicago White SoxAdam Dunn hit a 3-run homer and Jon Lester has his worst outing of the season as the Red Sox lose to Chicago 6-4.Dunn’s shot in the first inning got the White Sox offense rolling as they put 5 runs on the board in the first two frames.

Lester allowed all six runs on seven hits in 6 innings of work to suffer his only loss of the season. Jarrod Saltalamacchia homered and Will Middlebrooks drove in two runs in the losing cause.

On the injury front, Shane Victorino had to leave the game in the bottom of the 6th inning with hamstring tightness.
