Lester K’s 15, Sox Win [VIDEO]

Jon Lester struck out 15 Oakland A's in 8 innings of brilliant pitching at Fenway Saturday afternoon and the Red Sox scored a 6-3 win.

Lester gave up just one hit, walked two to go along with the 15 K's.

He got all the support in needed in the first inning when Jonny Gomes belted a grand slam. David Ortiz and David Ross also hit home runs.

Chris Capuano started the 9th inning but couldn't get anybody out. Koji Uehara came in a got three outs and picked up a save.
