The New England Patriots went to Dallas and had no problem beating the injury depleted Cowboys 30-6 thanks in large part to the play of running back Dion Lewis.Lewis who signed a 2-year contract extension during the week sparked the Patriots offense with 34 rushing yards and 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. The 10 yard touchdown catch in the 3rd quarter gave the Pats a 20-3 lead and some much needed breathing room.

Tom Brady threw for 275 yards by completing 20 of 27 passes including a touchdown throw to Julian Edelman. Brady also had a rushing touchdown in the first half, his first touchdown run since 2012.

The Pats defense were able to keep the Cowboys aff balance all game and only allowed 264 total yards.

It wasn't all good news for the Pats who lost linebacker Dont'a Hightower early in the first half with what was described as a rib injury.

New England is now 4-0 and will be on the road again next week when they travel to Indianapolis for an AFC Championship re-match against the Colts.
