Lewiston Beats Bangor 4-3, Rams Finish #1
You might say Bangor hockey lost the battle but won the war. The Rams lost their season finale to Lewiston 4-3 but still finished in first place in Class A East and will get a first round bye.
The Rams finished with a 15-3 record and eight Heal points ahead of Lewiston. The two matchups with the Blue Devils were one goal games with the visiting team winning. The possibility of Bangor and Lewiston meeting for a third time, for an Eastern Maime title, is a distinct possibility.
The playoffs begin next week.
