Little League baseball has stripped the Chicago-based Jackie Robinson League team of all wins this summer, including the U-S championship, for using illegal players.

Little League says an investigation shows that team used players who lived outside of their geographic boundary.

The team's manager, Darold Butler, has been suspended from LL activities. The District 4 LL Administrator Michael Kelly has been removed from his position.

Back in August, the Chicago South Side team defeated Las Vegas 7-5 before losing in the international championship game to South Korea.

LL CEO Steve Keener says "no team can be allowed to attempt to strengthen its team be putting players on their roster that live outside their league boundary."

It is the third time in 75 years of Little League baseball that a team has been stripped of a title.
