Longtime Boston Red Sox fan "Margo from Hampden" has passed away at the age of 100. Margaret Taintor was her real name but local Sox fans knew her best as Margo. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved to eastern Maine following her retirement.

She began calling into local radio shows years ago, telling everyone she was hoping to  live long enough to see the Red Sox win a world title. Margo ended up seeing three championships - 2004, 2007 and 2013. She was just 5-years-old back in the 1918 series year.

Margo turned 100 years old back on December 18th and passed away in Bangor over the weekend.
