Talk about creating separation. Make it an 8.5 game Red Sox lead over the Yankees after a 4-1 victory Saturday. The Sox have won the first three games in this four game series.

Nathan Eovaldi threw another gem in his second start for Boston. Eight innings of shutout ball, three hits, one walk and struck out four. He needed just 93 pitches. Eovaldi now has pitched 15 innings of shutout ball since joining the Sox.

Craig Kimbrel struggled in a non-save 9th inning, allowing a run and leaving the bases loaded.

The Sox offense was a two-rum home run from Mitch Moreland, a solo homer from J.D. Martinez and a RBI double from Sandy Leon.

Put the Sox record at 78-34, a whopping 44 games over .500.

It's David Price vs Mashiro Tanaka in the Sunday night finale of the series and you hear it live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
