Lowell’s Bazin Wins Spencer Penrose
UMass Lowell hockey coach Norm Bazin has been named the Spencer Penrose National Coach of the Year.Bazin led his River Hawks to a 28-10-2 record this season, and a first ever Hockey East regular season and tournament championship. Lowell will play Yale at the Frozen Four in Pittsburgh Friday.
Runners-up for the award are Rand Pecknold of Quinnipiac and Bob Motzko of St. Cloud State.
