Lower Takes Helm At Hampden
New Hampden Academy coach Fred Lower has lots of experience playing football and being an assistant coach in football. This week he begins the opportunity to run his own program.
Lower was a quarterback at Bangor in his high school days. He spent a few years as Rams offensive coordinator. And, for the past few years, had been an assistant coach with the Husson Eagles.
The Hampden coaching job opened when former head coach Scott Flagg took a new job in Brewer.
The Broncos are coming off a 2-6 record a year ago in the tough Class B PTC.
