Here's the thing about Ludacris, just like the rappers Busta Rhymes and Method Man, he has so much personality that sometimes his incredible lyrics get overlooked.

This is why it seems that Luda has something to prove on his new song "Beast Mode," which he released last month.

In the video for the dope cut, the Furious 7 star joins NFL running back Marshawn Lynch and borrows his infamous "I'm just here so I don't get fined" line from Super Bowl media day interviews.

From there, the veteran MC and Lynch bounce around a dark room while Luda spits all kinds of memorable one-liners behind a Hannibal Lecter mask.

"In a black Rolls Roys, Dark Knight like Batman / Everywhere you turn, the Ghost follows like Pac-Man / And I sleep with the John Dillinger, and always keep an eye half-open like Forest Whitaker ... What path is he on? / Opponents, I laugh and be gone / They handing in the towels like they work in Bed, Bath & Beyond," he spits.

There's no hook on the song and the newly married MC keeps the lyrical intensity going from beginning to end. It's also cool to see Lynch in his element. It's obvious that he's a huge rap fan.

Despite being away from the rap game for five years, the Atlanta spitter's new album, Ludaversal, scored the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200, moving 73,000 units in its first week. This is extremely impressive since Luda temporarily put music on the back burner for acting.

Furious 7 charted well too, opening up at No. 1at the box office.
