MacLean, Jackson Have Record Breaking Performances at EMITL

Another high school track and field meet...another record breaking performance for Bangor's Grace MacLean. And you can add Brewer's Teal Jackson to that record breaking performance too!

At the UMaine fieldhouse Saturday, the PVC/EMITL held its third meet of the season. Bangor senior Grace MacLean set the 55m hurdle record with a time of 8.54. That time also surpasses the old hand-record time in the 60yard event.

Just last week MacLean broke the 27-year-old league record in the the high jump.

Brewer senior runner Teal Jackson also broke a league record in Saturday's meet - the 400m event. Her time was 57.85. Danielle Hutchins from MDI had the league record at 58.26, set in 2009.
