Nova Scotia's Trevor MacLean will jump in that pencil thin kayak on Saturday hoping to grab a piece of race history during the 50th running of the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race.

One more win for MacLean will tie him with New Brunswick's Robert Lang for most wins in Kenduskeag history - 12.

MacLean has owned the event in recent years. In fact, it's an eight year winning streak (2008 through 2015).

In total, MacLean has 10 wins as a solo kayaker and one more win when he paddled a two-man kayak.

Lang has 12 wins, 11 solo victories. He will not be racing in the 50th event.

NOTE: Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com present a live 50th Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race Special Saturday morning beginning at 8am.
