UMaine freshman Blaine Byron scored a powerplay goal late in the third period and it turned out to the be the game winner as the Bears knocked off #7 UMass Lowell 4-2. Talk about feeling comfortable at home - Maine is 7-1 at Alfond Arena now. The Bears overall record is 7-6-1.

Martin Ouellette made 26 saves in goal for the Bears.
