Minnesota sits #1 in the latest college hockey national poll, Providence is the highest ranked Hockey East team at #4. After getting swept over the weekend in Vermont, Maine drops down to 27th place.

The Providence Friars, behind South Portland goalie Jon Gillies, is 11-2-2 and holding down the top HE spot. Gillies record is 10-1-2 with a 1.81 GAA.

UMass-Lowell and BC are also in this week's top 10.
