16 NCAA college hockey teams. 4 regional sites. The battle is underway to get to hockey's Frozen Four. Five Hockey East teams are in the field, more than any other conference.

Two of those teams play today - Vermont and Providence. The other three HE teams, BC, UMass  Lowell and Notre Dame play their first round games on Saturday.
