Paging Dr. Collins...Paging Dr. Collins...Red Sox super utility man Brock Holt can't shake the dizziness that has bothered him for a week and now the team is sending him to get checked out by concussion specialist Dr. Micky Collins in Pittsburgh.

Collins is a Hermon, Maine native. He played sports at Hermon HS and played college baseball at the University of Southern Maine.

These days he is one of the foremost concussion specialists with a lot of his work dealing the athletes. In fact, Sox catcher David Ross said Collins saved his career after he suffered a concussion last season and spent weeks with Collins.

Collins works with the University of PIttsburgh Medical Center. He is a consultant for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penquins.

Holt came out of a Sox game last Friday night in extra innings. At the time, Holt and the team thought it was just some sickness. But, the dizziness has not gone away and now Dr. Collins will examine Holt and test for concussion issues.
