Maine’s Tommy Lawrence Wins Weekly Award

Maine junior pitcher Tommy Lawrence is the America East Conference Pitcher of the Week for a fourth time. The first place Black Bears are now 8-3 in AE play, 17-14 overall.

Lawrence pitched a complete game in Sunday's 5-2 win over Binghamton. It was his third complete game of the season. Lawrence allowed one earned run and struck out seven.

For the season, Lawrence is 5-2 with a 2.04ERA.

The Bears play an out-of-conference game Tuesday at 5PM, hosting Thomas Colllege of Waterville at Mahaney Diamond in Orono.
