Major Renovation For Victory Field

Officials from the Old Town School Department on Tuesday announced a major renovation for Victory Field.Phase 1 & 2 of the project which is now underway will include the addition of an 8-lane rubberized track, grandstands, press box, practice fields, restrooms, new main entrance, scoreboard and landscaping. The $650,000 needed for this part of the project has come from donations and is scheduled to be completed for a dedication prior to the first home football game in the fall.

Phase 3 of the project consists of replacing the natural grass football field with synthetic turf.
