The New England Patriots scored a 31-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in their first pre-season game. QB Tom Brady looked in mid-season form, completing 7 of 8 passes for 65-yards and a touchdown.

Brady spread the wealth...Aaron Dobson with two catches, Kenbrell Thompkins with four catches.

LeGarrette Blount was the big star (perhaps surprise) rushing for 101-yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.

Ryan Mallett was the second QB in for the Pats, but he took a hit and was knocked down, Tim Tebow came on a played a lot more than expected. Mallett suffered a head injury.

The Patriots second pre-season game is next Friday against Tampa Bay. You will hear the game on Sportsradio 92.9 The Ticket, your home for New England Patriots football.
