Brad Marchand silenced the Montreal crowd when he skated in on Canadiens goalie Carey Price and beat him with a wrist shot, giving the Boston Bruins a 4-3 shootout win.

It was the first game back from a league mandated bye week and the B's picked up right where they left off - racking up more points in the standings.

The Bruins are now 9-0-3 in their last 12 games.

That puts the B's overall record at 24-10-7. That's the second best record in the Eastern Conference.

Marchand, Jake DeBrusk and David Krejci scored the three goals in regulation.

Tuukka Rask made 27 saves in net.

The Bruins host former UMaine goalie Ben Bishop and the Dallas Stars on Monday afternoon.
