Marseille, Schildroth Up For HS Athlete Of The Week [VOTE]

It’s time for you to help us decide again who should be the winner of this week’s High School Athlete of the Week.  We have two dynamic boys’ basketball juniors up for this week’s voting.

George Stevens Academy guard Taylor Schildroth has continued right where he and the Eagles left off a year ago when they won a State Championship in Class C.  The Eagles are undefeated and avenged their lone loss to Ellsworth from last year, earlier in this 2016-17 campaign.  Over the past week Schildroth has averaged 24 points in wins versus Narraguagus (85-44) and Penquis (66-44).  GSA is currently 7-0 on the year in Class C North.

Hermon High School standout Keenan Marseille has been one of the keys to the emergence of the Hawks’ program in 2016-17.  In the past two wins over Washington Academy (70-55) and John Bapst (57-48), he scored a total 36 total points.  Marseille has helped Hermon to a 6-1 record and  the team is tied with MDI at the top of the Class B North Heal Points.
