Newly signed J.D. Martinez went 3-for-3 for the Boston Red Sox today down in Fort Myers, Florida. The Sox played a 6-6 nine inning spring training tie with Tampa Bay.

Martinez was the DH today while Hanley Ramirez played first base. The three hits all went to right field. Martinez had a double and two singles, driving in a run and scored a run.

He is now 3-for-5 in two spring training games.

The Sox play the Miami Marlins Friday afternoon with Chris Sale making his first start of the spring.
