Mass Pro Win Maine Open Golf Title

Massachusetts pro Evan Harmeling is 2013 Maine Open Golf champion, shooting a final round 3-unde par 67 and edging out former Bangor golfer Jesse Speirs by one stroke.

Another Mass pro, Geoff Sisk also finished just a stroke back.

Harmeling had four birdies in his last six holes to finish the deal at Augusta Country Club. He is 25-years-old and a recent grad from Princeton. Earlier in the summer, Harmeling won the Mass Open tournament and donated the entire $15,000 check to the Boston One Fund, the relief fund helping victims of the marathon bombings.
