Before passing away on Monday, Patricia Shong of Auburn Massachusetts wanted her family to make sure she set the record straight.

Shong's family says the 72-year-old woman was a lifelong Patriots fan who made a point to defend the team in the wake of the 'Deflategate' scandal and has always stuck up for her favorite Quarterback Tom Brady.

Her family felt there was no better representation of the woman than to include her declaration of Brady's innocence. Even after the funeral director asked if they really wanted to keep that part in the obituary the family had to keep it in.

Shong's daughter says the family wanted to remember her with a smile on her face, and know she would get a kick out of it.
