Messalonskee's Nick Mayo has done it again! For the second time this week, the 6-foot-9 Maine senior at Eastern Kentucky University won a game for his Colonels with a buzzer-beating shot.

It happened Saturday when EKU was tied at 74-74 with Northern Kentucky and this time the former Messalonskee HS standout drilled an off-balance baseline jumper for the two point win (76-74)

Mayo had 27 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks in the win. His Eastern Kentucky team is now 6-4.

He now has 1,826 career points and is seven points away from becoming EKU's all-time leading scorer. The Colonels next game is December 15th against the Big East's Xavier.

NOTE: Seven days ago, Mayo hit on a last second three-pointer to give EKU the win over the University of South Carolina-Upstate.
