Defensive leader Willie McGinest has been voted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame by fans, beating out OL Leon Grady and CB Raymond Clayborn.

McGinest spent 12 years with the Patriots helping the team go from cellar dwellers to championship caliber. He was part of back to back title teams in 2003 and 2004 as well as a member of the 2001 team.

He is third in Patriots history with 78 career sacks. McGinest has a NFL record 16 post season sacks.

Induction ceremonies will be held at Foxboro this summer. McGinest will join defensive lineman Houston Antwine who was selected by the senior selection committee.
