The high school football playoffs resume tonight around the state and the LTC will jump into the mix with MCI and Bucksport hosting semifinal games.The number one seeded MCI Huskies face Mattanawcook Academy for the second year in a row. The Huskies finished the regular season unbeaten at 8-0 despite playing their last four games without two of their best players in running backs Jonathan Santiago and Eric Hathaway.MCI runs the no huddle offense and has racked up 2,168 passing yards and 863 passing yards on the arm of junior quarterback Greg Vigue.

Mattanawcook upset the Huskies in the semifinals last season and enter tonight's game with a record of 5-3. The Lynx will be without the services of junior running back Scott Jipson who will sit out with an injury. Jipson was their leading rusher with 415 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Because of field conditions, the game has been moved to Colby College and will kickoff at 7:30pm.

Tomorrow at 12:30pm Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket will be in Portland to call the class A semifinal between Bangor and Cheverus.
