The North Atlantic Conference announced its post season award Tuesday morning and two Husson Eagles walked away with top honors.Kayla Merrill was not only named the Player of the Year, but also the conference Pitcher  of the Year. It is the second time in as many years she has won Player of the Year honors.

Merrill is currently batting .437 with 3 home runs, 18 rbi, 35 runs scored and has 10 stolen bases. Her numbers in the pitching circle are equally impressive posting a 15-4 record and an ERA of 1.38. Merrill has struck out 97 and walked just 22.

Merrill along with catcher Casey Lopes, outfielder Deb Colpitts and shortstop Lyndsay Merrill were all named to the first team all conference squad. Nicole Andrade was picked for the second team.

Husson baseball freshman pitcher Robert Graff was named the NAC Rookie of the Year after finishing the season undefeated at 6-0. Graff posted an ERA of 1.76 and recorded 3 complete games. He was not only the top freshman, but one of the best pitchers in the conference regardless of class after finishing in the top 10 of 5 different statistical categories.

Husson senior outfielder Kyle Bishop was named to the NAC all conference first team. Jordan Carter, Ryan Rebar, and Christian Corneil were named the second team along with Graff.
