After weeks of negotiating it looks like the Red Sox and former Texas catcher/first baseman Mike Napoli finally have a deal.

WEEI in Boston is reporting a one year deal has been struck. Originally  there was a 3-year $39 million dollar agreement but a physical showed some hip issues and the deal has been on hold.

Until now...

The Sox want Napoli to play first base and backup catcher. Over the years as a player with Anaheim and Texas, Napoli has been an outstanding hitter at Fenway Park.
