Morales Solid In First Start

Jacoby Ellsbury reached base 5 times and stole 5 bases to help the Red Sox beat the Phillies 9-2 in their series finale.Ellsbury collected three hits plus walked once and was hit by a pitch. Each time using his speed to put himself in scoring position and increasing his total for the season to 21. David Ortiz and Jonny Gomes each hit solo homeruns while Jarrod Saltalamacchia drove in three.

Franklin Morales made his season debut and was solid pitching 5 innings of 2 hit ball. The bullpen closed out the game with 4 perfect innings.
