For the 9th time this season, Chris Sale struck out at least 10 batters as the Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers 4-2 and sweep the three game series.

Sale actually struck out 12 Rangers and walked just one. He has now done that five straight times and that has never been done before.

He was simply dominant. Seven innings, six hits, 110 pitches of which 80 of them were strikes. Sale is now 10-4 with a 2.23 ERA.

Xander Bogaerts had three hits. Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi and Eduardo Nunez all had two hits.

The Sox have now won nine straight game and sit at 65-29.
