Enfield native Matt Mulligan played 3 season for Rex Ryan and the New York Jets. The two have now been reunited in Buffalo where Ryan is the new head coach.Mulligan signed an undisclosed free agent contract and is currently one of 7 tight ends on the Bills roster but has the most NFL experience. That position has been a work in progress the team tries to find the right fit. Buffalo lost their starter from last year when Scott Chandler signed with New England in the off-season.

This will be the 8th team Mulligan has played with in the NFL. The former UMaine Black Bear started last season with the Bears and after getting released was picked up by the Cardinals. After a three week stint in Arizona he was released and picked up by the Titans where he finished the season.
