The Husson Eagles and UMaine Farmington Beavers split the NAC conference opening doubleheader. Husson getting game one 5-0, UMF wins game two 6-3.

The Eagles are now 6-6 overall (1-1 NAC). The Beavers are now 8-3 overall (1-1 NAC).

In Game 1: Husson got a complete game 6-hit shutout from pitcher Tommy Burns. He struck out two and walked just one. Burns needed only 76 pitches to complete the seven inning game.

Zach Sugar had three hits. J.T. Whitten had two RBI.

In Game 2: UMaine Farmington scored all six runs in the 6th inning, on seven hits, to get the split. Riley Chickering pitched the first six innings for the Beavers to get the win.
