NAC Preseason Poll: Husson Men #1, Women #3
Coming off a 26-3 season a year ago, Warren Caruso's Husson basketball team was selected as the preseason favorite in the coaches poll while the women were picked #3. Husson received 7 of the 10 first pace votes and a total of 97 points in the poll, well ahead of Castleton who was picked to finish second with a total of 79 points.
The Eagles return 2013 North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year Trevon Butler as well as dynamic guard Raheem Anderson who as a freshman led the league in scoring prior to breaking his foot after the eighth game and missing the rest of the season.
Husson will open the season Thursday at home against St. Joes.

Kissy Walker's women's team was picked to finish 3rd behind Castleton and Colby-Sawyer who tied for the top spot, each receiving 5 first place votes.
Husson returns 9 players form last years team including 4 starters. Sophomore Chandler Guerrette is the teams top returning scorer after averaging 13 points per game as a freshman.
