After a close three quarters, the Narraguagus Knights opened up a double-digit lead over the Piscataquis Pirates in the fourth on their way to a quarterfinal win at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

The No. 3 Knights (16-2) came away with a 61-50 win over the No. 6 Pirates (12-7) to earn a spot in the Class C North semifinals.

For the Knights, Kayla Toppin had 18 points. Senior forward Cassidy Osgood had 10. The Knights leading scorer during the season, senior Kelli Kennedy, was held to 9 points. Sophomore guard Madison Leighton also had 9 points.

For the Pirates, senior forward Jordynne Littlefield led the way with 17 points. Deani Bennett added 12 before fouling out with 4:26 to go.
