The Bowdoin College women's basketball team will spend another week as the nation's #1 team in NCAA Division III.

The Polar Bears are 5-0 with three games scheduled for this week, including a matchup at UMaine Farmington tonight.

Coach Adrienne Shibles and her Bears began the season as the #2 ranked and moved into the top spot last week.

UMF coach Jamie Beaudoin and his Beavers team are 1-5 and coming off their first win of the season over UMaine Presque Isle over the weekend.

NOTE: The St. Joseph's Monks stay as the #12 ranked team nationally with a 6-0 record.
