The NBA has fined Celtics guard Kyrie Irving $25,000 for throwing the ball into the crowd as he walked off the court Monday night in Denver.

Irving was upset with Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, who scored 48 points in a win over the C's but tried for 50 by taking shot three-point shot at the buzzer.

At practice in Phoenix Wednesday, Irving said he deserved the fine but didn't back down on what he thought about Murray and his last second antics.

But, check out what former Celtics great Paul Pierce had to say about it on ESPN...
