NCAA Softball: Terriers Sent To Williams Regional

The NCAA is sending the Thomas College softball team from Waterville to Williams College in Massachusetts for the first round of the Division III playoffs. The Terriers earned their first NCAA bid by winning the North Atlantic Conference Tournament over the weekend in Bangor.

The Terriers entered the NAC tourney as the #3 seed and knocked off #1 Husson and #2 Castleton on the way to the title.

(14-21) Thomas College will play (31-10) Williams on Friday. The Ephs are NESCAC conference champs and the #2 ranked team in New England.

(25-12) Rensselaer(NY) plays (34-7) Staten Island(NY) at the four-team regional.
