NCAA V-Ball: MMA Will Play Springfield

North Atlantic Conference volleyball champs Maine Maritime Academy will meet Springfield College in the first round of the NCAAs later this week.

The Mariners will play in an eight team pod that will be played at Johnson & Wales College in Providence, RI. The regional begins Friday.

MMA won its third consecutive NAC title over the weekend and will enter the NCAAs with a 22-6 record. Springfield College (MA) is 23-7.

NOTE: (27-1) Bowdoin College is the other team from Maine is the field of 64. The Polar Bears will play (23-10) Worcester State in the first round of a pod to be played at Babson College in Massachusetts..Check out the full bracket by clicking here...
